the chips. and some calamari
Just came back from a couple of great days in London with Viviana. We walked A LOT. And went to the theatre (‘six degrees of separation’ at Old Vic), a temporary exhibit (‘from Bowie to Beatles’ at National Portrait Gallery), Tate Modern,Brick Lane, of course the january sales ++ On the food side: I actually didn’t eat fish & chips! But I ate chips at least. And a couple of other good things, like:

delicious libanese food in Brick Lane. forgot the name of the place :/

Wangamama. Noodles that made me want go to Asia again!

That Lebanese looks so good. I went out to a good Lebanese place with Martin once in Lyon, sort of near the Opera I think. Also, they opened two wagamamas in Boston so I went last summer and really liked it. Did you ever go to Mendo (noodle place in Lyon) with us? Maybe not. Tell Viviana I am so happy in Italy though I haven’t eaten anything yet that has been up to the standards of what she cooked. Ciao Vivana! Kaye and I actually talk about Filo on average once a day; we have yet to find our equivalent here BUT there is so much good stuff to eat. For instance, a pizza, like 33 centimenters across for 2.50. And delicious. It’s much cheaper here than in Lyon. Also last night Kaye and i spontaneously went out to dinner at about midnight and had gnochetti with gorgonzola. I’m glad you are writing these posts in English INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE. Last thing: I have this great apartment, with fun cool people like you had in yours and we share chores and everything and hang out but i am THE ONLY PERSON that likes cooking at all! Sadness… I miss you! This is like a letter. I need to go to bed; I am putting off hw so badly. A presto!

Oh, Claire, how I love your long streams of conciousness! I tried to sign up for the traduction course today, but the not so helpful woman in the adm desk tried to send me off to Bron! I’ll try to write a mail directly to the prof
I’m expecting a hundredsomething pic album from Italy any day!
